A 38-year-old man left with his wife and two children after threatening to kill the children and himself, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office has issued an arrest warrant charging Daniel Howell with aggravated assault.

According to a be-on-the-lookout alert issued by the sheriff's office at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Howell left with his family in a white 1998 Lincoln Town Car, with a Georgia license plate for disabled persons, after making the threat.

Howell is described as white male, 5 feet 9 inches, with brown hair and brown eyes and a stocky build.

Anyone with information on Howell's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at (912) 764-1771, or your local law enforcement agency.
