Police Report - 6-11-14; A woman damaged a man’s truck and cut his knuckle with a knife.

    ▲ Russell Roundtree Collins, 46, Upper Lotts Creek Church Road — wanted person, open container.
    ▲ Randolph Lee Parrish, 45, Van Buren Street — theft by shoplifting, obstruction.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ ORANGE STREET — A man was arrested around 2:20 a.m. Monday, after police learned he fought physically with his juvenile daughter, whom they found lying on the ground unresponsive. He reportedly struck her several times and threw her into a parked vehicle.
    ▲ S&S GREENWAY — An officer noted graffiti spray-painted on an underpass around noon Sunday.
    ▲ EAGLE COURT APARTMENTS — A man told police around 1:26 a.m. Sunday that several men with boards beat him. EMS transported him for treatment.
    ▲ WAL-MART — A man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Saturday for stealing a woman’s shirt, trash can, plastic cart, action figures, cellphone and a bean bag.
    ▲ EASTVIEW APARTMENTS — A man was arrested around 7:45 p.m. Saturday after breaking into an apartment and striking his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend with a stick.
    ▲ JOHNSON STREET — Officers responded at 3 p.m. Friday to a call from a woman who said she was lying in bed with her live-in boyfriend, and he made unwanted sexual advances towards her.
    ▲ MADISON MEADOWS — A woman told police around 1:48 a.m. Friday that her ex-boyfriend struck her repeatedly in the head and kicked her. He would not allow her to call 911, so she ran to a neighbor’s home, where she called for help.
    ▲ PINE STREET — Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. Thursday to a reported fight between two women who were arguing over a man.
    ▲ ROUNTREE STREET — Police met with a man at the hospital around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The man said he cut his arm while “partying for his birthday.” He signed a waiver of investigation, claiming the injury was due to an accident and not a criminal act.
    ▲ SOUTH ZETTEROWER AVENUE — A Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team member discovered a gray hooded jacket on the ground around 1:45 p.m. Monday. The jacket was surrounded by three beer cans — two unopened, and one empty with what appeared to be a bullet hole in it.
    ▲ STAMBUK LANE — Officers responded to a domestic dispute around 1 a.m. Monday in which witnesses said a woman struck her boyfriend several times, causing facial lacerations.
    ▲ VAN BUREN STREET — A man told police around 2:30 p.m. Monday that his live-in girlfriend stole $450 from his wallet. She denied doing so, claiming he was drunk the day before when the money went missing.

    ▲ James Hunter Poole, 23, Palm Avenue — possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, obstruction.
    ▲ Tyrone Johnson Jr., 21, Oglethorpe Drive, Pooler — probation violation.
    ▲ Keldrick Deondra Gardner, 23, Langston Chapel Road — contempt of court.
    ▲ Dalton Neil Rushing, 19, Daytona Drive, Bloomingdale — bench warrant.
    ▲ Russell Roundtree Collins, 46, Upper Lotts Creek Church Road — loitering and prowling, theft by taking.

    ▲ PECAN GROVE MOBILE HOE PARK — (Portal) A woman damaged a man’s truck and cut his knuckle with a knife during a domestic dispute around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
    ▲ WESTSIDE ROAD — A man spotted another man driving a Kawasaki Mule utility vehicle, acting suspiciously, around 11:30 p.m. Monday. He followed the man while calling police, and the suspect was arrested for theft by taking, wanted person, loitering and prowling and wanted person.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ Troopers investigated 24 crashes with 11 reported injuries; stopped  71 vehicles; issued six seat belt citations, 17 speeding citations and 41 total citations; issued three seat belt warnings, 34 speeding warnings and 61 total warnings; and assisted two motorists.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Zachary Michael Wendland, 19, Lanier Drive — underage possession of alcohol, giving false information to an officer.
    ▲ Daniel Craig Snyder, 22, Booster Boulevard — obstruction.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ Officers issued 14 traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted six motorists Friday through Sunday.
    ▲ CHANDLER ROAD — Officers discovered an intoxicated subject around 1:09 a.m. Saturday and judicially referred the person to university officials for an alcohol violation.
    ▲ MONARCH 301 — Officers discovered two females involved in a physical altercation around 1:14 a.m. Saturday. Both subjects were judicially referred to university officials for punishment.
Officers issued four traffic citations and one traffic warning Monday.
    ▲ DINING COMMONS — Officers responded around 1:51 p.m. Monday to a dispute behind Dining Commons between a Parking and Transportation employee and a vehicle owner. The dispute was resolved.
    ▲ UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Officers responded around 10:23 p.m. Monday to a domestic dispute that was resolved.
