Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team investigators arrested six men Thursday after serving search warrants at two Statesboro homes.

After receiving "numerous complaints of drug sales and drug use, fighting, gambling and other quality-of-life issues at these two residences," investigators served the search warrants simultaneously at homes on Butler Street and around the corner in the 700 block of West Grady Street, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said Friday in a news release.

The homes "are located in close proximity to each other," he said. "Last month, investigators served three search warrants in the same area ... for the same reasons."

Milton Leroy Odom, 63, of West Grady Street, was charged with maintaining a disorderly house and unlawful distributing or dispensing a controlled substance.

Daniel Hodges, 65, of Butler Street, was charged with maintaining a disorderly house and sale of alcohol without a license. This is his second offense within a month for illegal alcohol sales, Anderson said.

Alvin Boyles, 54, of Loretha Street, is charged with possession of a drug- related object (crack pipe). Demetrius Donaldson, 48, of Bobby Donaldson Avenue, is charged with cocaine possession and possession of a drug-related object (crack pipe), Anderson said.

Michael Fennell, 35, of Savannah Avenue, is charged with cocaine possession, and James Earl Lundy, 40, of Simmons Road, is charged with cocaine possession and sale of cocaine, the sheriff said.

All suspects were taken to the Bulloch County Jail for processing. And await bond hearings.

"The Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team takes the complaints of citizens very seriously," Anderson said. "Citizens who want disruptive influences out of their neighborhoods should report their concerns to CST by calling (912) 764-1786 or submitting an anonymous tip to"
