Two men were arrested Monday after law enforcement officers found a large quantity of marijuana and a large sum of cash in an apartment, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

The search was conducted by investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team at a unit in Timberland Point Apartments, in the 3600 block of Georgia Highway 24, the release says.

Bryan Morrell Davis, 27, of Hendrix Street, and Isama Dare Alabi, 34, of Old Carriage Trail, were each arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The men were taken to the Bulloch County Jail and later released on bond pending further court proceedings.
