    ▲ LAKESIDE DRIVE — (Twin City) A woman reported the theft of several guns, a stun gun and ammunition between noon April 19 and 9 p.m. Tuesday.
    ▲ SPRING CREEK ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday that he heard a noise and saw a dog carrying away a baby goat he had just killed. The man shot the dog, and animal control as well as deputies stated the action was justified. The dog’s owner said he had been seeking the dog for two weeks. He was cited for nuisance animal and given the dog’s remains for burial.
    ▲ GEORGIA HIGHWAY 46 — (Pembroke) Deputies responded to a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and met with a woman suffering from visible injuries. She told deputies she didn’t know what happened and fought with them after they told her to wait in the patrol car. She kicked one deputy near the groin and cursed them, resulting in her arrest.
