Masked men invade home

A home invasion robbery early Tuesday morning has Bulloch County Sheriff's investigators on the lookout for a gang of armed, masked men.

Sheriff's patrol deputies were dispatched around 1 a.m., to a Burkhalter Road residence for a reported home invasion.

"Upon arrival, deputies were advised that four armed, masked black males had entered the residence and confronted the two persons occupying the home," Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said.

After robbing the victims, the suspects fled. No one was injured. The scene was processed for evidence and the case is under investigation, the sheriff said.

Anyone with information should call sheriff's Investigator Jason Long at (912) 764-1747 or submit an anonymous tip to tips@bullochsheriff.com.
