Ashley Brooke Hillis and Micah Christopher Baldwin

    Mrs. William Wycliffe Hillis III of Millen, Ga., is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Ashley Brooke Hillis, to Micah Christopher Baldwin, son of Donald Lockett Baldwin of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Loron Earl Williams III of Tifton, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late William Wycliffe Hillis III of Millen. She is the granddaughter of Agnes Cassels Hillis and the late Dr. William Wycliffe Hillis Jr., Ann Bryant Cowart and the late Jimmie Lane Cowart, all of Millen. She is a 2007 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School in Millen and a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education. She is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. She is currently employed with the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education as an elementary school teacher at Windsor Forest Elementary School in Savannah, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wooten Baldwin of Dawson, Ga., Florence Sumler Evans and the late Floyd Leon Evans of Tifton. He is a 2004 honor graduate of Tift County High School in Tifton and a 2009 honor graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He earned his Master of Science in structural engineering in 2013 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently employed as a structural engineer with Hargrove Engineering in Savannah.
    The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at Quinney Oaks Plantation in Millen.
