SHS Relays postponed
Due to forecasts calling for severe thunderstorms throughout Saturday, the 46th annual Statesboro Relays have been postponed until Monday, March 31.
With 18 schools signed up to compete in the 16-event meet, Statesboro coach Jake Collins made the early decision to cancel Saturday’s scheduled plans in order to give other teams as much time as possible to reschedule. Much of this year’s field will come from surrounding counties, making the change of schedule much more manageable and ensuring that Mother Nature won’t do too much damage to one of the premiere events on the track and field calendar.
