    SAVANNAH — The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets run-ruled New Hampstead in three innings and Bryce Harnage retired all nine batters he faced as SEB won 15-0.
    The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday at Brantley County.

Lady Blue Devils blank SEB
    BROOKLET — The Statesboro Lady Blue Devils defeated Southeast Bulloch 3-0 on the road Tuesday.
    Statesboro (4-7) got goals from Chelsea Wilson, Emmalyne Sisson and Ashley Williams, and Asia Crawford added an assist for SHS.
    Destinee Lanier preserved the shutout in goal.
    The Blue Devils are back in action when they host Savannah Country Day on Thursday.

Screven girls sweep, boys split
    SYLVANIA — The Screven County Lady Gamecocks played 10 tennis matches on Tuesday without dropping a set, and the boys defeated Calvary Day and fell to Savannah Country Day.
    The girls (12-1) saw Rebekah Woods, Mallorie Boswell, and the doubles team of Pamela Wooten and Haley Jackson each go 2-0.
    Jancy Durrence, Kristin Thomas/Hannah Kumjian, and Michaela Iwinski/Allie Bazemore were each 1-0 during the two matchups.
    Winners for the boys (6-7) against Calvary were Jacob Lariscy, Ryan Bazemore, Mason Oglesby, doubles pair Zachary Weaver and James Woods, and doubles pair Zachary Anderson and Matthew Thomas.
    The Gamecocks will play in the Coastal Empire Tennis Classic this weekend.

Elon tops GSU tennis
    Georgia Southern's men’s tennis team fell to Elon 7-0 on Tuesday at home.
    The Eagles now hold a 3-14 record overall and 2-4 in the Southern Conference.
    At No. 1 doubles, Nico DeGroof and Kyle Hoffman dropped to Jordan Kaufman and Cameron Silverman, 8-3.
    In the second doubles position, Christian Kerrigan and Oliver Webb battled Brian Kowalski and Robert Lindgren but fell, 8-5.
    Albert Codina Sala and Marco Osorio were defeated at the No. 3 spot by Juan Madrid and Stefan Fortmann, 8-4.
    In singles competition, the Phoenix swept the Eagles in all 6 matches. Senior Oliver Webb was defeated by Cameron Silverman in the No. 1 position, 6-0, 6-1. Kyle Hoffman, in the No. 2 spot, dropped to Stefan Fortmann, 6-0, 6-1. At No. 3 singles, Marco Osorio fell in a tough tie breaker to Robert Lindgren, 6-2, 2-6, 11-9. Albert Codina Sala lost in the 4th singles position against Brian Kowalski, 6-3, 6-4. Nico DeGroof battled Jordan Kaufman and fell in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3. Rafael Racy was taken down by Juan Madrid, 6-2, 7-6.
