Police Report - September 25

Statesboro Police Arrests          

            No arrests filed.

             

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Allen Deterian Littles, 20, West Grady Street — probation violation.

            Gary Antwone Roundtree, 27, Quail Hollow Road, Sylvania — probation violation.

             Tommy James Dees III, 26, U.S. 301 North — DUI, driving with a suspended license, open container, second degree criminal damage to property, failure to appear in court.

            Colter Evans Hattaway, 22, Nesmith Proctor Road, Brooklet — DUI, open container.

            Shanneka Latonya Ware, 28, Johnson Street — probation violation.

            Michael Joseph O' Toole, 46, R. V. Shelby Pond Lane, Portal — driving with a suspended license, unlawful use of license plates, headlight requirements, no insurance, operating an unregistered or unlicensed vehicle.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 50 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Olivia Lee Tipton, 20, Rushing Street, Richmond Hill — DUI under 21 (.213).

            Napoleon Pascual, 28, Metter — DUI (.175).

            Penny Spires Foskey,43, Charleston Avenue — DUI (.074).

                         

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            Steven Lee Netherland, 18,  Winburn Hall — possession of marijuana, underage possession/consumption of alcohol.

            Michael James Robertson, 19,  Cambridge Apartments — wanted person.

            Cyrus Shane Hall, 22, Vista Circle, — disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer.

            Troy Marshall Moore, 25, Walnut Street, — public intoxication and obstruction of an officer.

            Michael J. Murphy, 21,  Echo Way — disorderly conduct.

            Jarrett Martin Roberts, 18, Kennedy Hall — DUI, open container violation, and headlight requirement.

            Officers issued two traffic citations Saturday and one Sunday..

 

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            MADISON MEADOWS APARTMENTS — Two juveniles told police they saw a man leave from an apartment window. Missing was a .380 hand gun and a pair of orange and black Nike Air Jordan shoes.

            COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — A man said someone dropped a cooler from a third floor location onto his car - and shattered the windshield.

            CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A man said someone poked a hole in a window and reached inside his apartment to snatch $150.

            RUM RUNNERS — A man called police because a bouncer struck him, but the bouncers told police the man was intoxicated and fighting inside the business.

            JOHNSON STREET — A complainant reported several women were harassed while walking home.

            LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A juvenile and a 19-year-old were engaged in a fight     but police could not determine who started the altercation.

            WEST KENNEDY STREET — A complainant found a red Huffy Gortex 26 " men's bicycle in the yard - and it did not belong to anyone they know. Police are holding the bike in case an owner reports it missing.

            MIKELL STREET — A woman said her husband struck her and broke the phone cord when she tried calling for help.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            MARIA SORRELL ROAD — (Clito) A woman told deputies her husband became angry because he believed she and her daughter had been shopping all day in Savannah. The two had indeed been shopping, but in Statesboro, and the complainant said she did not understand why her husband believed she was in Savannah. He told deputies he knew she had been in Savannah and did not approve, because she should have been home taking care of him and his mother.

            BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported receiving harassing phone calls.

            WESTBROOKE TOWNHOUSES — (Statesboro) A man reported a case of identity theft, stating his worker's compensation lawyer is stealing his identity.

                                   

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 50 warnings, made one emergency relay of blood or medical supplies, assisted two motorists and investigated two crashes with no reported injuries Sunday.

                       

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            FRIDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, investigated two traffic accidents and responded to three alarms.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, investigated one traffic accident and assisted one motorist.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted three motorists and responded to five alarms.          

            SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Someone reported being harassed.

             In a separate incident, someone reported the theft of a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice.

           

911  Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 15 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 11 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — 11 calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — one calls.

             

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — nine medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — no medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed a call to Tattnall County 911 and a call to Toombs County 911.
