Police Report - 3-5-14; Someone stole a .32-caliber pistol from a vehicle.

Because of incorrect information supplied, the age of a suspect listed in Wednesday's Police Report was reported incorrectly. Zachary Deal Hawk Jr., of Middleground Road, who was charged with criminal attempt to purchase marijuana, is 21 years old.

▲ WOODSHOLE CIRCLE — (Statesboro) Someone stole a .32-caliber pistol from a vehicle between Jan. 27 and Feb. 21.
▲ MOORE ROAD — (Portal) A man said his ex-girlfriend has harassed him throughout the month of February, calling him, calling his current girlfriend and writing letters to his mother.
▲ MILL CREEK ROAD — (Statesboro) Deputies stopped a car at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday and found a man inside who had marijuana in his pants pocket. He told deputies they weren’t his pants, but a deputy noted they fit him perfectly. When a marijuana blunt (cigar) was found in his hat, he claimed the hat was not his either. He was arrested on drug charges.
