➤  Incidents
▲ WEST INMAN STREET — (Statesboro) Deputies assisting Statesboro police with a reported fight call stopped a man matching a suspect’s description.  The man finished his Colt 45 beer while deputies spoke with him, then became belligerent and argued with deputies, claiming innocence. When he became aggressive in his resisting, deputies took him into custody, charged with public intoxication and obstruction.
▲ QUAIL HILL DRIVE — (Statesboro) A juvenile girl who threatened to harm herself and her guardian after refusing orders to clean her room was taken for evaluation at a hospital before being arrested.
▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — (Statesboro) Two men were arrested on marijuana charges after a traffic stop. They had a toddler in the vehicle with them, and officers smelled burnt marijuana before finding a quantity of the drug, along with accessories, in the car.

▲ Officers issued 21 traffic citations and 13 traffic warnings, and assisted six motorists, Friday through Sunday.
▲ SWEETHEART CIRCLE — An incident report was taken at 1:25 p.m. Friday for a criminal trespass. The case was assigned to Criminal Investigations. 
▲ J LOT — Officers discovered two intoxicated subjects at 1:05 a.m. Saturday. One was charged with underage possession of alcohol, and the second subject was judicially referred to school officials for punishment.
▲ UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Officers responded at 2:13 a.m. Saturday to a domestic dispute. Two subjects were arrested.
▲ COLLEGE OF EDUCATION — Officers responded at 2:22 a.m. Saturday to a fire alarm activated by dust accumulating on a heat strip, which caused smoke.
