STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT

    ▲ Wayne Jackson, 48, Turner Street — loitering/prowling, obstruction.
    ▲ Ronald Thomas Wells, 22, Johnson Street — driving without a valid license, no proof of insurance.
    ▲ Arlether Williams, 49, The Lodge Apartments — criminal trespass.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ COLLEGE BOULEVARD — Two residents reported being visited by two suspicious females.
    ▲ SEASONS APARTMENTS — Someone stole three signs from the complex.
    ▲ PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A man caught another man in his vehicle, but the offender fled before he took anything.
    ▲ STADIUM VIEW APARTMENTS — A man told police he was robbed at gunpoint. He said he gave the offender his wallet before running, and when he returned to his car, he found his wallet. He signed a waiver of prosecution.
    ▲ HILL STREET — Several power tools were taken from a vehicle.

➤ Arrests
    ▲ Freddie Lee Bates, 55, Kadi Lane, Hinesville — criminal trespass, disorderly conduct.
    ▲ Joshua Scott Gonzales, 22, Indian Trail — simple battery, criminal trespass.
    ▲ Justin Everett Jay, 30, Mosley Street, Vidalia — criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark, open container.
    ▲ Amanda Louise Trahan, 25, Benton Boulevard, Pooler — simple battery.
    ▲ Daron Latroy Canty Jr., 22, Mill Creek Road — marijuana possession.
    ▲ Traivon Daprie Gadson, 21, Peachtree Street — marijuana possession, giving false identity to officers.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL POST 45
➤ Troopers investigated three crashes with no reported injuries; stopped 21 vehicles; issued nine total citations including five seatbelt and three speeding tickets.
➤ Troopers also patrolled 417 miles, issued 20 warnings including five seatbelt and four speeding warnings, and assisted two motorists Thursday.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Officers issued no traffic citations Thursday.
    ▲ Erin Brooke Denmark, 22, Meadowlark Circle — failure to obey a traffic control device, failure to maintain lane, possession of drug related object, open container and DUI. 
    ▲ Brian Thomas Thornhill, 44, Waco, Ga. — wanted person by the Carroll County, Ga., Sheriff’s Department. 

➤ Incidents
    ▲ Officers issued three traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Thursday.
    ▲ ZIP-N-GO — Officers conducted a traffic stop at the convenience store on Chandler Road. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI and other charges.
    ▲ LANIER DRIVE — Officers made contact with a subject at the Fast & Easy on Lanier Drive. The subject was arrested for a warrant by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department.
