▲ Joseph Ellington, 21, Injunction Road, Swainsboro — simple battery, disorderly conduct, public intoxication.

▲ PARK AVENUE — A man reported a drainage grate stolen.
In another incident, a woman reported a possible break-in, but reported nothing missing.
▲ GEORGIA HIGHWAY 67 — A woman said a man accused her of  flirting with another man, and struck her. He also punched holes in walls and turned over furniture.
▲ MONARCH 301 APARTMENTS — A woman was arrested for stealing her roommate’s clothes.
▲ COPPER BEECH TOWNHOMES — A man invited two women and a man he met on a shuttle bus to his apartment, but then asked them to leave after they began acting suspiciously.
▲ VISTA CIRCLE — A man told police a woman brandished a knife at him.
▲ JOHNSON STREET — Officers met with a man who said he believed he had been shot in the head. He was “highly uncooperative” with police and signed a waiver of prosecution. He refused transportation to the hospital but went by private vehicle later.
▲ THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — An older, box-style TV; refrigerator; shoes; purse; printer; camera; piggy bank; clothes; and household items were stolen during a burglary.
▲ WILTON DRIVE — Someone reported the theft of a laptop computer, PlayStation 3 and several pairs of shoes.
▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A woman said another female threatened her with harm.
▲ SOUTH CITY TAVERN — Several victims said multiple offenders threatened them with use of a gun, and assaulted them when someone tried photographing their vehicle tag.
▲ PATE PLACE — A woman reported the theft of boots and jeans.
▲ WALMART — A man and woman shoplifted $700 worth of clothes and $70 worth of food.
▲ MINCEY STREET — A woman and a juvenile fought physically after the juvenile had a verbal dispute with a man.
▲ BUFFALO WILD WINGS — A man reported the theft of a bicycle that had been chained outside.
▲ 111 SOUTH APARTMENTS — A man said a woman struck him in the mouth and then bit him.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL POST 45
Troopers investigated eight crashes with one fatality and four injuries, issued one seat belt citation and seven citations in all, stopped 15 vehicles and patrolled 361 miles.
Also, troopers issued four seat belt warnings, four speeding warnings and 15 total warnings; and assisted one motorist.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE

▲ GEORGIA AVENUE — Someone reported the theft of a keyboard.
▲ WATSON PODS — Someone killed two squirrels, found shot several times, with spent shell casings stuffed into their wounds.
▲ PHYSICAL PLANT ADMINISTRATION — Police are investigating a forgery and theft by deception incident involving $1,000.
▲ C/E/J LOTS — A golf cart stolen from Lot 21 was recovered.
