Local Roundup: Parking info for SHS football game

The Fleming Road side of the stadium will be open for this Friday’s game with Glynn Academy as well as the other four home games this season. There will be no entry from Lester Road, either vehicular or pedestrian, due to construction.  There are approximately 400 parking spaces on the Fleming Drive side of the stadium.  These will be available on a first come first serve basis.
One great alternative for fans that do not want to contend with the parking issues is to take the free shuttle from the K-Mart parking lot which drops fans off right in front of the entry gate and returns them to their cars after the game ends.  The shuttle will begin running at 6 p.m. until 7:30 (kickoff) and then resume at 9 p.m. until everyone is back at their vehicle. Game tickets ($6) will be on sale at the shuttle site which will allow fans to avoid the ticket lines once they reach the stadium.  The shuttle service is located in the back of the garden center parking lot at K-Mart.
