Honoring Brooklet’s Dr. Emory Bohler

The stretch of U.S. 80 between Brooklet and Statesboro was officially named Dr. Charles Emory Bohler Highway during a special dedication ceremony  held prior to the opening of the Brooklet Peanut Festival earlier this month. Childree, daughter; Billie Bohler, wife; and Rep. Jon Burns. State Rep. Bob Lane submitted a request for the dedication, which was approved by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
