Melanie Elizabeth Pyle and Jed Daniel...

    Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Doylene Pyle of Moultrie, Ga., are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melanie Elizabeth Pyle, to Jed Daniel Gay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Julia Gay of Statesboro, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pyle of Moultrie, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Richardson of Pensacola, Fla. Melanie graduated from Colquitt County High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. She is employed with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates in Duluth, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Carolyn Gay and the late Mr. Charles D. Gay of Statesboro, Ga. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Thelma Steele, the late Mr. Leonard Collins and step-grandson of the late Mr. Robert Steele of Rocky Ford, Ga. Jed graduated from Bulloch Academy and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He is employed with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations in Atlanta, Ga.
    The couple will wed September 21, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda Academy in Savannah, Ga.
