Is what's happening in Egypt relevant here?

      Why have so many people turned out in the streets of Cairo and other cities in Egypt to demand that President Morsi resign?
      It is the Fourth of July and I read our Declaration of Independence on this day each year.
      It is the most amazing political document ever penned by mankind. In it is the answer to the question above. It reads as follows: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."
      It goes on to say this ,which is what is relevant to Egypt and what is happening there, because they were experiencing what our Founding Fathers and American patriots were experiencing with King George III. Tyranny! Dictatorial rule!
      Here is what it goes on to say: "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
      The Egyptians are standing up to their dictator and doing what we did to our dictator King George III. We should support them Mr. President and tell the world about our Declaration of Independence. Tell the world that people have a God-given right to be free, Mr. President. Strike a blow for freedom, Mr. President.
      Finally, I urge you to take the time to read our Founding Document the Declaration of Independence. Study its meaning. Pay attention to all the grievances that our Founding Fathers had with King George III and his ruling class. The oppressive things his government was doing to the colonists, controlling how they could live their lives. Then ask yourself, have we come full circle from 1776 to today's federal government and how it is controlling our lives, are we back to King George III and his ruling class?
