Statesboro Police Arrests          

             Holly Moon, 18, Southeast Sandhill Drive, Conyers — underage possession of alcohol, open container.

            Andrew R. Richards, 26, Robin Hood Trail — obstruction.

            Byron Charles Russell, 22, Bellhaven Court, Duluth — aggravated assault with a gun.

            Keaton Hesman Russell, 22, Robin Hood Trail — aggravated assault with a gun.



Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Samantha Amee Brown, 20, Folson Drive, Wrightsville — felony theft by shoplifting.

            Kamilah Wright, 23, Wesley Drive, Wrightsville — theft by shoplifting.

            Herbert Brentt Church, 30, Danbury Court — DUI, failure to maintain lane.

            Rick Nathan Wilson, 18, Black Creek Church Road, Brooklet — underage possession of alcohol.

            Daniel Lee McQuaig, 19, Mill Creek Road — DUI under 21.

            Samuel McQuaig, 17, Mill Creek Road — underage possession of alcohol.

            Terrance Eugene Maines, 26, Mobley Drive — criminal trespass, battery (family violence).


Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 25 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Bryan D. Sikes, 18, Metter — DUI (pending test results).


Georgia Southern University Arrests

              Darreona Chapel McDowell, 18,  Olliff Hall —  giving false information to an officer.


Statesboro Police Incidents      

            INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES — An employee reported a cash register drawer missing.

            CINDY LANE — A woman said her husband was injured while trying to stop two men from fighting. He was struck by a belt buckle and one man threatened him with a knife.

            CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — A n 18-year-old female was charged with underage possession of alcohol.

            BRANNEN STREET — Police stopped a 16-year-old male driving a vehicle that was suspected to have been involved in a reckless driving incident and fight at Cindy Lane, charging him with DUI and underage possession of alcohol.

            PEACHTREE STREET — A woman said her juvenile son saw a man he knows break two windows.

            ECHO WAY — A woman said she saw a man on her porch, and when she asked hi what he was doing, he motioned towards her window and said "I am from here." He was gone when police arrived.

            ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — A man said another male fired a gun at him, then struck him several times in the face.

            CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A woman was injured in the head while fighting another female.

            HARDEES — Police found two men asleep in a car parked in the drive-through, and charged them with open container, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). One was also charged with DUI.

            WENDWOOD DRIVE — A man reported a damaged mail box.

            FOXLAKE DRIVE — Police and Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents responded to a report of a possible explosive device and formed a safety perimeter before checking it out. The item was only a fuse and not an explosive device.


Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            BULLOCH MEMORIAL GARDENS — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of 33 bronze flower vases worth $6,600.

            STANFORD DRIVE — A juvenile complainant told deputies a Brooklet man kicked a ladder out from underneath him, causing him to fall. He and the man got into an argument and the offender hit him in the mouth, he said.

            J. M. STRICKLAND ROAD — (Register) A man reported the theft of a blue 1987 Isuzu pickup truck with a dent in the tailgate and a black toolbox in the truck bed.       

            W. C. HODGES ROAD — (Statesboro) A juvenile told deputies she and her father were involved in a physical fight.


Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 25 warnings, assisted one motorist and investigated one crash with one reported fatality Sunday.


Georgia Southern University Incidents

            RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Someone reported a wallet taken.

            KENNEDY HALL —  A case of armed robbery stemmed from an apparent domestic dispute. The suspects  are reportedly from Fort Valley, Ga. There were no injuries reported in  the incident, which is being investigated by the University’s Office  of Public Safety.

             SOUTHERN PINES — Someone reported a bicycle taken.

             FRIDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted three motorists

 and responded to one alarm.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued four traffic warnings.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted two motorists and responded to two alarms.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 13 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department —  30 calls.

            University Police Department —  one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 —  two calls.

            Brooklet Police — one call.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — three calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls.

            Claxton Police Department —  one call.


911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department —  two calls.


911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — 15 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Emanuel County 911.
