    Dr. (Col.) Harry and Minister Brenda Holiday of Valdosta and Carlos McNeely of Savannah announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheila McNeely of Statesboro, to Stacy Lamont Jordan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Linda Faye Mercer and the late Charlie Willie Jordan of Portal.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Effie Littles and the late Tom Littles. Sheila graduated from Reidsville High School in June of 1993. She furthered her education in bachelor of science degree in justice at Georgia Southern University. She is working towards a master’s of education in counselor education at GSUV. She is employed as a graduate assistant.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Alberta Smith of Statesboro and James Louis Williams Jr. of Claxton and the late Eddie and Love Ann Jordan of Portal. Stacy also graduated from Reidsville High School in June of 1993. He furthered his education at Georgia Southern University and enlisted into the National Guard in October of 1993, where he served until February of 1999. He furthered his education at Georgia Southern in computer science for 1 1/2 years and later became the team leader at Lowe’s in appliance home improvement.
    The couple has planned to wed September 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Snella’s.
