"So, President Bush is coming to Statesboro to campaign for Max Burns. Am I supposed to be impressed?"
"Young college operators of small motorcycles are making a mockery of laws of the roads in Statesboro. Our police really need to clamp down on these dangerous drivers."
"Empty buildings, empty grocery stores. What are they doin' about filling the buildings and grocery stores with new, upcoming things like Publix, Krogers and things like that? If the city's growin' as fast as they say it is, where's the building to be filled?"
"I see in today's paper where President Bush is comin' to Statesboro to … to campaign for Max Burns. That just shows how desperate the Republican Party is getting."
"Please define political suicide in the 2006 midterm elections. Oh, never mind, I will. A Republican candidate running for office who actually wants to be seen in public with King George Bush."
"Yeah, Holli, … I got a Sonny-do list. … To hurry up and let's get this over with and take all these commercials off. And let's vote for the one that's not tellin' a lie."
"All you people that's cryin' about the tall grass on Highway 80 … our intelligent highway department took care of that … economically with round up. Ha, ha, ha!"
"In a recent edition of Connect, Jake Hallman states rather than vote for Burns or Barrow, he will write in his own name and vote for himself. I plan to give Jake my vote. If enough voters will do the same, perhaps politicians will get the message that residents of Bulloch County do not appreciate candidate bashing."
