Two women arrested in separate shoplifting incidents
Statesboro Police arrested two woman in separate shoplifting incidents recently, said Capt. L. C. Williams.
Det. Terry Briley investigated an incident Thursday at Belk where Terri Monique Gordon was charged with shoplifting after taking a $78 pair of pants without paying. Gordon, 26, Statesboro, was found with a pair of needle nosed pliers, commonly used for removing security devices from clothing, he said.     Briley also responded to this incident and gathered evidence and witness statements which resulted in Bennett being charged with felony shoplifting. She was arrested, then released "on her own recognizance due to a medical condition," he said.
