Police Report - 3-31-13; Euthanized at animal shelter this week - 17 dogs and five cats

➤ Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

➤ Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

➤ Georgia Southern University
    ▲ KNIGHT DRIVE — Officers investigated the report of a blue, six-gallon water tub located near Kennedy Hall. A complainant suspected it was gas, but a check revealed it was simply water and not a danger.
In a separate incident, two women reported prescription medications stolen.

➤ Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    ▲ The shelter reported the following activity during the week of March 18-24:
    ▲ Surrendered by owners — 14 dogs and 11 cats from rural areas; none from City of Statesboro.
    ▲ Collected by officers — 15 dogs and a cat in rural areas; four dogs and a cat from City of Statesboro.
    ▲ Adopted from shelter — seven dogs and two cats.
    ▲ Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
    ▲ Died at shelter — four dogs.
    ▲ Euthanized — 17 dogs and five cats.
    ▲ Fees collected — $330.
