On Friday, approximately 850 fourth-grade students attended the 2013 Children’s Water Festival hosted by Keep Bulloch Beautiful and Georgia Southern University.
Held on GSU’s campus, the annual festival is an educational event focused on water science and conservation. Students learn about water quality, the water cycle, water habitat, and how they can limit waste and pollution in their daily lives.
Throughout the day, students traveled around in classroom groups and enjoyed hands-on classroom presentations, a professional water entertainer and indoor and outdoor activities and games.
