‘Hiring Our Heroes’ event set for today

Veterans and military spouses will have employers specifically looking for them during a job fair today at Georgia Southern University.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation will host “Hiring Our Heroes – Statesboro” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Nessmith-Lane Conference Cneter, 847 Plant Drive.
Several employers are expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience. Companies range from the country’s biggest employers to dozens of small companies from the region.
This hiring event is being held in partnership with the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce and several state and local agencies.
Interested job seekers should register for free at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-in job seekers are allowed. Veterans must provide proof of service.
