    ▲ Zuwena Sade Carrington, 19, Seneca Drive, Milford, Pa. — theft by shoplifting.

    ▲ BELK — A woman concealed a Polo shirt in her purse and left without paying.
    ▲ STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student reported a wallet, $175 and some prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses stolen.
    ▲ THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — Police responded to a call about two people shoving each other during an argument.
    ▲ BASKIN ROBBINS — Someone stole a gym bag and contents, Georgia boots, Costa del Mar sunglasses, jewelry and sportswear from a vehicle.

    ▲ Edwin Dewayne Fountain Jr., 29, Zittrouer Road, Guyton — bench warrant.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ NATURE WAY — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of $900 cash. His roommate also reported $1,000 missing.
    ▲ FRANKLIN LANE — (Brooklet) A man said a local power company cutting limbs from a right-of-way damaged his fence.
    ▲ STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported another man sent him an email that contained a virus, infecting his company’s and personal computers.
    ▲ CANARY LANE — (Statesboro) A woman said she ordered a man to leave her home. He did, but re-entered through a back door. He was gone when deputies arrived.
    ▲ SUNCREST DRIVE — (Portal) Juveniles riding a four-wheeler saw a man shoot at a dog in his yard and called 911 when they felt he aimed the gun at them. Deputies investigated and the man admitted shooting at aggressive dogs he feared would attack him or his dogs, but denied pointing the gun at the juveniles.

    ▲ Officers issued one traffic citation Monday.
 
➤ Incidents
    ▲ Officers issued five traffic warnings and assisted four motorists Monday.
    ▲ PAULSON STADIUM — Officers responded to Paulson Preferred Parking in reference to a dog inside a vehicle. The animal appeared to be in distress. The owner was located and advised not to leave his dog in a hot vehicle.  
    ▲ ROTUNDA — Officers attempted to make contact with skateboarders skateboarding on the Rotunda.  The subjects ran when officers attempted to make contact. Both offenders were arrested on trespass charges and banned from Georgia Southern University property.
    ▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded in reference to a graduate student carrying a firearm at Freedom’s Landing Club House. This case was turned over to criminal investigations.
