Ashley Elaine Proctor and Kenneth Tyler Aurandt

    Mr. and Mrs. E. Allen Proctor of Nevils, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elaine Proctor of Lawrenceville, Ga., to Kenneth Tyler Aurandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Phillip Aurandt.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John and Gail Steed of Savannah, Ga., and Mr. Ben Cole and the late Bettye Cole of Savannah. Ashley is a 2007 honor graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and graduated from Valdosta State University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. She was a member of the Valdosta State University Dance Team, known as the RedHots, when they won their first national championship in 2008. Ashley is currently pursuing a career in nursing.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Aurandt of Lilburn, Ga., and Mrs. Imogene Wheeler of Monroe, Ga., and the late Mr. Don Wheeler. Tyler is a VSU graduate with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He also received his Master's in Public Administration. While at VSU, he received two national championships. Tyler played in the 2004 National Football Championship and coached in the 2007 National Football Championship. He is currently a high school math teacher and football coach at Grayson High School in Gwinnett County. In his first year as a Grayson High School football coach, they won the state championship.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 6, 2013, at
6 p.m. at the Westin Resort in Savannah.
