Eagles face test at No. 13 Florida

Spirits were high in the Georgia Southern dugout after the Eagles took the opening series against the Georgia Bulldogs, which included an 11-2 thrashing on Sunday.
Coach Rodney Hennon hopes the Eagles (2-1) will have the same confidence today at 7 p.m., when GSU faces the No. 13 Florida Gators in Gainesville, Fla.
"I thought we had fun coming to the park," Hennon said about the UGA series. "We played loose, we played aggressive and we've got to continue playing that way."
The Gators took two of three from Duke in their opener, and faced Central Florida on the road Tuesday night.
In 2013, they look to continue on their postseason success of the last few years, despite losing 12 players from a 2012 season in which they earned the No. 1-overall seed in the NCAA tournament.
Florida has been a No. 1 seed each of the last four years in the NCAA regionals.
"There are still plenty of guys on that team who have been to Omaha the last two years," Hennon said. "It's going to be a challenge for us, but I think our guys are looking forward to embracing the opportunity to go down there and compete."
The Eagles are 1-1 at Florida their last two trips.
