    Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Doyle of Sylvania announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Lynn Doyle, to Robert Melvin “Vinnie” Lynn Jr., son of Melvin and Lynda Lynn of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Jean Kirkland of Sylvania and the late Ronald Reuben Doyle of Sylvania and Karen and Louis Bonora of Sugar Hill and Charles Sherrod Jr. of Odom. Kayla graduated from Screven County High School in 2008 and received her degree in Cosmetology from Ogeechee Technical College in 2011. She is employed at Textures Salon and Tan in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Ann Webb Hicks of Statesboro and Vonnie Griffeth and the late Alvin H. Griffeth of Rome and Wilma Lewis of Statesboro and the late Robert Lynn of Woodcliff. Vinnie graduated from Portal High School in 2007 and received an EMT degree from Ogeechee Technical College in 2009. He is employed as a sales representative at C.C. Dickson and Company in Statesboro.
    The couple has planned to wed on March 9, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Robbins Nest in Statesboro.
    All family and friends are invited to attend.
