Saturday's Men's Game
Ga. Southern (8-12, 2-5) at W. Carolina (8-12, 5-3)

Quick Notes:
    ➤ Georgia Southern lost in overtime to Appalachian State on Thursday night, 64-62. The Eagles were down by 17 points in the final nine minutes of the game, but forced mistakes by the Mountaineers and mustered a 22-5 run down the stretch to force overtime.  

          ➤ Western Carolina has lost three of its last four games and fell to Davidson on Thursday night, 75-74. Trey Sumler and Brandon Boggs each scored 22 points against Davidson.

Saturday's Women's Game
Ga. Southern (3-14, 2-6) at UNCG (3-14, 0-8)

➤ 4 p.m., 91.9 FM
➤ Fleming Gymnasium, Greensboro, N.C.

Quick Notes:
    ➤ GSU is still searching for its first true road win of the season and is 0-10. The Eagles are 0-5 in road SoCon games.
    ➤ Georgia Southern is coming off a 61-58 home victory over Wofford last Sunday.
    ➤ Four of GSU's last eight games have been decided by a basket or less, and the Eagles are 2-2.Monday and have had almost a full week between games.
