Statesboro man found safe


A Statesboro man reported missing Sunday was found safe in Savannah on Tuesday morning, police said.

Robert William Meyers, 46, walked away from a personal care home around 9 a.m. Sunday, according to a Statesboro police alert issued Monday morning.

Justin Samples, the Statesboro Police Department's public information officer, said Meyers was found Tuesday morning by Savannah-Chatham Metro Police "in good condition."
Meyers was voluntarily a resident at the personal care home, Samples said.
