Police seek missing man

A Statesboro man is missing from a personal care home, and police hope residents can help find him.

Robert William Meyers, 46, is described as a white male wearing jeans and a dark sweater. He walked away from the home around 9 a.m. Sunday and was last seen on Cawana Road, according to Statesboro police alerts.

Meyers stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. No photo was immediately available, police said.

He may be found near the Statesboro Regional Library or around Ogeechee Technical College, police said.

Anyone with knowledge of Meyers' whereabouts is asked to check his well-being and then call police at (912) 764-9911.
