Kelly-Bond

    Mr. and Mrs. Melburn B. Kelly Jr. of Claxton announce the engagement of their daughter, Hayley Elizabeth of Statesboro, to Brandon J. Bond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bond of Boston, Ga., and Kathleen Bond of Thomasville, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melburn Kelly Sr. of Tillman, S.C., and Betty Parker of Glennville and Walter Parker of Middleburg, Fla. She is a 2003 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BS ed in art education. She is employed by the Bulloch County Board of Education at Langston Chapel Elementary School.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Bond Jr. of Miami, Fla., and Boston, Ga., Helen McKenna of Hollywood, Fla., and the late John F. McKenna of Orlando, Fla. He is a 2001 graduate of Brookwood School in Thomasville and is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University. He is commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, 1st Armored Division, presently stationed in Germany.
    The couple has planned to wed on September 1, 2007, at 6 p.m. at the Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro.
    No local invitations are being sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
