Police Report - 10-11-12; A man suspected his sister of tampering with his ventilator.

➤ Arrests
    ▲ Kathlyene Henderson McDowell, 22, Spell Mincey Road, Portal — theft by shoplifting.
    ▲ Joshua Reed McCullough, 23, Burkhalter Road — theft by taking.
    ▲ Michael Fennel Jr., 34, Green Street — criminal trespass.
    ▲ Shaneka Ladeidra Fennel, 29, Green Street — criminal trespass.
    ▲ Abigail Hobby, 18, Kennedy Hall (Georgia Southern University) — theft by taking.
    ▲ Antwon Maurice Green, 25, Brentwood Drive, Savannah — stop sign violation, driving without a valid license.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A woman said her male friend held her down and touched her breasts when he was watching TV at her house. He left when she screamed and kicked at him.
    ▲ BURGER KING — A man reported $1,951 missing from the restaurant, and listed a suspect.
    ▲ THE GROVE — A man said another man choked him during an argument.
In a separate incident someone reported an automobile break-in where two cameras were stolen.
    ▲ CAMPUS CROSSINGS — A woman said someone stole her rearview mirror.
    ▲ CLAIRE’S BOUTIQUE — Several shoplifters were apprehended on more than one occasion Tuesday. Offenders, some juveniles, stole earrings and other jewelry.
    ▲ WAFFLE HOUSE — (Northside Drive East) A woman reported a wallet and its contents taken from a vehicle.
    ▲ BUTLER HOMES — A woman reported a child in the road. Police investigated, found the mother and babysitter had left the child unattended, and reported the incident to the Department of Family and Children Services.
    ▲ EAGLE HEALTH AND REHAB — A man suspected his sister of tampering with his ventilator.
    ▲ ZETTEROWER AVENUE — A man reported the theft of a red-nose pit bulldog, taken from a chain in his yard.
    ▲ THE MAD POTTER — Several items, including a horse head statue and “POTS” stop sign, were stolen.
    ▲ THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — A man told police he was shot with a BB gun. He did not know who shot him.
    ▲ GARY’S MINIT MARKET — A man reported the theft of a wallet and $210.
    ▲ THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A woman reported $70 missing.
    ▲ GARDEN DISTRICT — A PlayStation 3 and related games were stolen in a burglary.
    ▲ STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT — About 22 pound of expired, unwanted or obsolete medicines were collected and destroyed through Operation Medicine Drop.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    ▲ Walter William Dunaway, 48, Bulloch Street — probation violation.
    ▲ Elisha Marie Ator, 22, Sandalwood Circle — DUI, open container, failure to maintain lane.

Incidents
    ▲ LOCKETT LANE — (Register) A woman reported being harassed by phone after breaking up with a man.
    ▲ SUNSHINE ROAD — (Ellabell) An intoxicated woman told a deputy a man choked her and beat her because the cat defecated in the house. She refused to tell the deputy who the offender was or where it occurred, but after he asked why she even called the law she spoke up and gave him a name and location.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Officers issued three traffic citations Tuesday.
    ▲ O’Neil Barry Davis, 20, address unlisted, Statesboro — failure to notify owner upon striking an unattended vehicle.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ Officers wrote 10 traffic warnings and assisted two motorists, as well as issued two parking tickets for improper parking at Paulson Stadium.
    ▲ HARVEY/LANIER DRIVES — Officers assisted Statesboro police with an injured person. EMS was notified and responded, but the injured person denied transport by EMS to a medical facility.
    ▲ UNIVERSITY VILLAS - Officers responded in reference to a motor vehicle accident — hit and run. The driver of the vehicle was located, arrested and charged:
