Police Report - 10-7-12; Euthanized at the animal shelter – seven dogs and 18 cats

ARRESTS
➤ Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

➤ Brooklet Police
    ▲ Mark Daniel Rigdon,22, Davis Road, - driving in violation of conditions of limited permit, leaving the scene of accident with damage, DUI.
    ▲ Carmen Leon, 22, Hwy 80 -possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related object.
    ▲ Joe Moreno Viera, 27, Hwy 80, Brooklet public drunkenness, possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related object
    ▲ William Jeffery Fulford, 44, Old Flat Ford Road, Brooklet - suspended license, DUI, failure to maintain lane, cracked windshield.
 
INCIDENTS
➤ Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

➤ Brooklet Police
Incidents last week:
    ▲ Speeding- five citations; DUI- two citations; failure to maintain lane- one citation: seatbelt violation- one citation: hit and run- one citation: driving on limited permit- one citation: cracked windshield- one citation: suspended license- one citation.

➤ Bulloch County Animal Shelter 

    ▲ The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 24-30:
    ▲ Surrendered by citizens –seven dogs and seven cats from rural areas and one dog and two cats from the City of Statesboro.
    ▲ Collected by humane enforcement officers – five dogs and five cats from rural areas and two dogs and six cats from Statesboro city limits.
    ▲ Adopted from shelter – three fogs and four cats.
    ▲ Reclaimed by owners – two dogs.
    ▲ Died at shelter – 12 cats.
    ▲ Euthanized – seven dogs and 18 cats.
    ▲ Fees collected - $335.
