Nicole Price became the bride of Doug Bentley during a 6 p.m. ceremony held on December 22, 2006, at Bible Baptist Church in Statesboro. The Rev. Jimmy Creel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Carolyn Price of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Oglesby and Corene Bowen.
The groom is the son of Felecia MacDonnell of St. Mary’s and the late Gary Bentley of Statesboro.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless Japanese satin A-line gown of white featuring a bodice embellished with beaded lace, flat sequins, seed pearls and bugle beads. The bodice lace accents a faux-basque waistline over an unadorned skirt. The semi-cathedral train featured vertical cascades of flat sequins and bugle beads. Her silver headpiece consisted of a combination of rhinestones, crystals and pearls attached to a two-layered elbow-length veil of white. The veil was lined in silver and accented with rhinestones.
Ashley Thompson of The Woodlands, Texas, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elena Bordonali and Shabnam Jeddi of Athens, Veronica Pitt of Savannah and Summer Clark of Valdosta. Isabelle Morriss was flower girl.
Groomsmen were Matt Tilson, Ryan Ray, Will Hook, Parker Webb and Josh Kaiser of Statesboro, Ryan Rogers of Milledgeville and Jonathan Price of Statesboro. Tanner Brown served as ring bearer.
Following the ceremony at the church, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Robbins Nest in Statesboro.
