    Mr. and Mrs. William Patrick Crawford III of Nevils and James Andrew Barrow of Claxton announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Jami Teal Barrow, to Brian Wayne Newland, son of Joanne Newland and the late Wayne Newland of Statesboro.
    Miss Barrow is the granddaughter of Bill and Eloise Crawford of Nevils and the late L.W. and Susie Royal of Thomasville and the late Eugene and Helen Barrow of Claxton. Jami graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 2000 and the Medical College of Georgia in 2006 with a master’s of health science in occupational therapy. She is an alumna of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Jami is employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah as a licensed occupational therapist.
    Mr. Newland is the grandson of the late Sydney and Ann Smith of Statesboro and Clarence and Ruby Newland of Orlando, Fla. Brian graduated from Statesboro High School in 1997 and is a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering technology. He is employed with Dulohery, Weeks, and Gagliano, Inc. of Savannah.
    The wedding is planned for Saturday, October 20, 2007, at 7:00 in the evening at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church of Statesboro with the reception immediately following at Snella’s Place.
    The couple would like to invite all friends and family to join them.
