    Tanesha Equittie Furman and Willie Eldrich Herrington announce their engagement to be married.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernard Furman of Groveland and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Moore of Claxton. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Mckever of Claxton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Furman of Pembroke. Ms. Furman is a 1996 graduate of Claxton High School and is a 1998 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, where she received a diploma in nursing. She is currently employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Herrington of Statesboro. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Ellis of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Herrington of Statesboro. Mr. Herrington is a 1993 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2004 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, where he received an associate’s of applied technology degree in health care management. He is currently employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Statesboro.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Hodges Grove Baptist Church in Statesboro. The reception will immediately follow at Snella’s Place.
    No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
