STATESBORO POLICE
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Latifah Monique Anderson, 23, Wash Drive, Hardeeville, S.C. — wanted person.
    ▲ Paul Lee Knight, 29, Dodd Circle — theft by shoplifting.
    ▲ McKenzie Maurice Dean, 24, Lincoln Street — obstruction.
    ▲ Raven Dowling, 20, Lanier Drive — disorderly conduct.
    ▲ Santravis Jerrod Brown, 23, The Cove Apartments — marijuana possession with intent to distribute; possession/use of a drug related object, obstruction.
    ▲ Erick Ray Halla, 27, Adams Road, Bloomingdale — probation violation.

    ▲ PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A TV, clothes and household items were stolen.
    ▲ CLYDE’S/FAIR ROAD — A man reported a gray 1996 Honda Accord stolen after he left it running when he went inside the store.
    ▲ DELUXE INN — Police arrested a woman on outstanding warrants after she stiffed a cab driver on a fare from Hardeeville, S.C. Caseworkers took her 2-year-old daughter while she went to jail.
    ▲ RUDE  RUDY’S — A man said he was dancing and suddenly he woke up outside, suffering from a black eye, swollen lip and scrapes.
    ▲ WALMART — After waiting an hour for the owners to return, after having them paged, an officer turned a puppy left in a car over to humane officers.
    ▲ COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — Police questioning several people and asking them to disperse had to “take down” a man who refused to leave, refused to remove his hands from pockets and was being disorderly.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

    ▲ BARN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man caught another man peeking through his window. The offender fled in a van.
    ▲ PULASKI HIGHWAY — (Statesboro) A woman said a man exited a vehicle and pulled a gun, pointing it at her.
    ▲ PRATHER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man called deputies and barricaded himself in his house, claiming two men broke a window and he was hiding. Deputies found he had cut a lock off an electric meter box and tried reconnecting power, so they arrested him.
    ▲ WEDGEFIELD WAY — (Statesboro) Someone stole a man’s solar lights from his yard.
    ▲ SINKHOLE CUSTOMS — (Statesboro) A man reported several power tools and equipment stolen.
    ▲ MILL CREEK MOTOR MART — (Statesboro) A woman entered the Georgia Highway 24 convenience store and said the clerk offered to help her carry her purchases. When he took them he touched her breasts, she said. Video did not prove the claim.
    ▲ REDBREAST LANE — (Clito) A woman reported the theft of a washer and dryer.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL POST 45
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Between Friday and Sunday, troopers issued two seat belt citations, 16 speeding citations and 33 total citations.

➤ Incidents
    ▲ Between Friday and Sunday, troopers investigated seven crashes with five reported injuries; stopped 152 vehicles, patrolled 1,824 miles, issued six seat belt warnings, 69 speeding warnings, and assisted four motorists.
 

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
➤ Arrests
    ▲ Rachael Williams, 18, St. Simons Island, — DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and failure to maintain lane.
    ▲ Jeremy A. Chamblee, 18, St. Simons Island —  underage possession of alcohol.
    ▲ Garrett C. Vance, 20, Cairo, Ga. — impeding the flow of traffic, false ID, DUI (refused test).

➤ Incidents
    ▲ FRIDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning and two motorists.
    ▲ SATURDAY — Officers issued four traffic warnings.
    ▲ SUNDAY — Officers assisted one motorist.
    ▲ FREEDOMS LANDING — Officers responded to a panic alarm that was accidentally activated.
    ▲ BRANNEN HALL — Officers responded to an alarm that was discovered to be false.
    ▲ LAKESIDE CAFÉ — Officers responded to a criminal trespass at Lakeside Café.  A patron was refused service because he did not wear shoes, and he refused to leave. The patron was advised of the rules and left without further problems.
    ▲ OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — Officers responded to a sick person at Sigma Nu House. The sick person was transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center with lower abdominal pain.
