    Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dobbins of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Michelle Dobbins of Atlanta, to Joseph Wayne Snyder of Atlanta, son of Kenneth Snyder of Atlanta and Danielle Matkowski of Carrollton, Ohio.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sands Iler of Shellman Bluff and Mary Ann and the late Thomas Dobbins of Townville, S.C. She is a 2000 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2004 honor graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in civil engineering, where she was a member of Chi Epsilon. She is currently employed with Wolverton and Associates in Duluth.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Hazel and the late William Snyder of Indianapolis, Ind. He is a 1995 honor graduate of Southside High School in Atlanta and a 2004 honor graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in civil engineering technology. He is a U.S. Army combat veteran. He is currently employed as vice president of Cornerstone Engineering in McDonough.
    The ceremony will be held at The Robbins Nest on September 22, 2007, at 6 p.m.
    No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
