Lady Eagles clinch SoCon's regular season crown

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Georgia Southern Softball took care of business on Sunday afternoon, defeating Furman twice to clinch the Eagles’ second ever Southern Conference Championship and first since 1996. GSU took the opener 4-2 and tossed a shutout for a 2-0 win in the regular season finale. The Eagles finish the regular season with a school record 38-17 overall record with a 22-2 mark in conference play.
