Jerry Forehand

In the Stilson community, there is one constant: People always seem to help each other. So, as we honor Jerry Forehand for his service to his community and to its people, to some degree, we honor the whole community. Jerry owns a retail store, and when people of his community are down on their luck or have lost their job, he frequently helps by providing food at no cost. When Jerry learns of someone with a disability or illness, he has helped by providing labor, material or money to build ramps or other items needed to make their home more accessible. Jerry has volunteered over the past 10 years as a youth coach at the Stilson Elementary School and he donates Children Ambassador books to this school, too. Jerry has served on many committees at both the Brooklet and Hubert Methodist churches.
