On behalf of the Coastal Georgia Regional Development Center Area Agency on Aging and the Bulloch County Aged & Disabled TaskForce, I am writing this letter to thank the students and staff at the Charter Conservatory of Liberal Arts & Technology for their participation in our Service2Seniors Health & Wellness Fair last week.
We are a coalition of area organizations who serve the aging and disabled and needed help to take care of the expected gathering of 200 folks. The Charter Conservatory of Liberal Arts & Technology graciously stepped forward to lend a hand. These kids and their leader, Mr. Benji, were outstanding!
They aided seniors who needed help to their tables, served beverages and lunch, and kept the facility clean and orderly. They escorted participants to health screenings and other services offered at the event.  And did all of this with gentle hands, soft tones and bright smiles. The day would not have been a success without them! To say they were wonderful is an understatement.
Our heartfelt thanks goes to: Mr. Benji Lewis, Dylan Cantrell, Jennifer Crockett, Erin Dixon, Tybee Floyd, John Glidwell, Charlie Hancock, Courtney Hendrix, Tearia Johnson, Matt Kennedy, Josh Maudlin, Cassie McMains, Catherine Moore, Nicholas Moss, Tiffany Rich, Kenny Robinson, Shannon Rushing, Joseph Starling, Chris Waters, Shelly Waters, Reggie Wright, Justin Gordon and Jonah Gordon. And last but not least, we wish to acknowledge Pittman Park United Methodist Church staff for allowing us to use their beautiful facility. They are kind people that make Statesboro a great place to live.
