Statesboro Police Arrests    
    No arrest filed.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Alex Vershon Jones, 33, Eldora Road, Ellabell — third degree cruelty to children, battery (family violence).
    Bobby Joe Cooper, 29, Overland Street — failure to register as a convicted sex offender, violation of law regarding sex offenders working or residing within 1,000 feet of a prohibited location.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Francisco M. Marcelino, age unavailable, Cody Lane, Brooklet — DUI (refused t    est).
    Bradley S. Mair, 24, Bradford Court, Dublin —  DUI (.226).
    Amanda J. Ferrell, 17, Honeydew Lane, Brooklet — DUI under 21 (pending test results).
    Joshua Jeremiah Neely, 17, U.S. 80 East, Brooklet — DUI under 21 (.063).
    Troopers issued 23 citations Thursday for traffic violations.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
       Patrick Palmer Reddick, 20, College Walk — theft by taking, obstruction of an officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
     Four juveniles were charged with theft by taking.
       
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    WAL-MART — Two women were arrested after a store detective saw them placing bathing suit coordinates, clothing and a Mountain Dew in their purses.
    EAST OLLIFF STREET — A woman said another female called her, harassing her over money owed.
    WALGREENS — A pharmacy employee, suspicious of a woman trying to fill a prescription allegedly for a friend, called police. When officers tried to question the woman, she tried to flee.
    EAGLE WALK APARTMENTS — A person was treated by EMS for injuries sustained when using a knife to cut cookies.
    PEACH STATE AUTO INSURANCE — Police investigated a burglary during which someone stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — Police and firefighters responded to a call about some discarded     furniture on fire beside the road.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    STUBBS WRECKING YARD  — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of several radiators and catalytic converters. She told deputies she saw a strange vehicle when she arrived at the business and later found where an air conditioner unit had been pushed out from its opening.
    BULLOCH COUNTY JAIL — A deputy  was dispatched to the booking area to assist with an inmate on the floor, kicking and yelling.     He ordered the man to comply with personnel's requests, but he refused. The deputy informed him he would use his M-26 Taser if he did not comply, and the inmate "became passive resistant." However, a charge from the Taser on his left side changed the inmate's mind and he cooperated with jail staff.
    SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman told police she answered a classified advertisement and received a cashier's check from a "secret shopper" company that was found to be fraudulent.
    WILLOW HILL COMMUNITY CENTER — (Portal) A man reported extensive damage to the windows, doors and equipment in the building.
    GA. 119 — (Ellabell) A man told deputies he saw several young males with rifles on his property, then later noticed windows to a building had been broken out. The deputy located the suspects - an adult male and  two juveniles - and arrested them for criminal damage to property.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — (Register) A woman said her adult son knocked holes in the walls and damaged furniture during an argument.
    BILLY MIKELL ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said someone cut three tires on his car, poured sugar in the gas tank and scratched the vehicle.
    U. S. 301 NORTH — A woman said another female with whom she was friends refused to allow her to retrieve some items she had stored.
    HIGH POINT ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman  said a man struck her in the head during an argument, but the man denied touching her.
    U.S. 80 EAST — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies there had been a fight at her residence and a man was kicking her door, trying to  get in.
    CYPRESS LAKE MOBILE HOME PARK —(Register) A woman said her boyfriend kicked in her door and choked her, then left driving her car. While deputies searched for the man, he returned to the home, and she called law enforcement again. Deputies returned as well and arrested the man.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 10 warnings and investigated four crashes with three reported injuries Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
     Officers issued one traffic warning Thursday.
