GSU faces UNCG on Monday

Georgia Southern will say goodbye to Janay Wilson and Samantha Wilson at 7 p.m. Monday at Hanner Fieldhouse when the women's basketball team plays its final home game of the season against North Carolina-Greensboro.
Wilson is a 5-foot-8 guard from Warner Robins and is the Eagles’ third- leading scorer at 6.2 points per game. Williams, a 5-9 guard from Kingsport, Tenn., is one of GSU’s top reserves. She has started seven games this season after starting 23 last year, and her season high was 18 points in a 52-46 win over Jacksonville.
Facts and Figures: The Eagles and Spartans are both looking to avoid finishing last in the Southern Conference, a spot currently held by UNCG, which has lost its last nine games. The Spartans’ (4-22, 3-15) last win came against GSU when Natalie Headley hit a jump shot at the buzzer for a 55-54 win, which ended a nine game losing streak.
Notable: GSU's MiMi DuBose had a season-high 19 points in the first meeting with UNCG, only six shy of her career high. DuBose had been in double figures 13 times going into Saturday’s game with Elon. Anna Claire Knight, a freshman from Dublin, has averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in her last five games before Saturday.
