Tray Baird joins Park Avenue Bank as market president

PAB Bankshares, Inc. announces the addition of Carroll “Tray” Baird III to its management team.

Baird joins the bank as market president for the Bulloch County area.

"We are very excited to have Baird as part of the PAB team,” stated Dave Gould, regional president for Park Avenue Bank.

 “He brings new enthusiasm and a customer-oriented style of banking which matches PAB’s philosophy of personalized service.”

Baird’s entrance into the financial industry began in 1999 where he interned at First Bulloch Bank.

Between the years of 1999 and the present, Baird has held many positions including being a teller, working in collections, branch manager, financial specialist, agricultural lender and commercial loan officer. Prior to joining Park Avenue Bank, Baird was with the Durden Banking Co., Inc.

“Joining Park Avenue Bank is a great opportunity for me because it confers the opportunity to pursue a challenging and rewarding career,” Baird stated.

“I look forward to helping Statesboro businesses and residences with their banking and lending needs.”

Baird graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of business administration in finance degree with emphasis in banking and investments.

Post graduation, he attended the Georgia Bankers Association school of banking at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in Athens.

Locally, the Park Avenue Bank operates two full service-banking locations. Overall, the company operates 19 branch offices and two loan production offices in various counties over Georgia and Florida.  The company’s common stock is traded on NASDAQ National Market under the symbol PABK.
