Editor: Ninety per cent of diabetic patients are treated by their primary care physician and unfortunately only 14 percent receive education by a certified diabetes educator or any other nurse or dietitian. It is wonderful that Susan Riley, FNP, DNP received a grant to offer group diabetes education in the community.
