Jan. 20 -- Kanesha Laquan Bussey, 19, Lanier Drive – theft by shoplifting.

Statesboro Police Arrests
    * Thomas Edward Matthies, 36, South Main Street – driving with a suspended license, failure to obey traffic device.
    * Kanesha Laquan Bussey, 19, Lanier Drive – theft by shoplifting.
    * Chaquikia O’Neal Wilson, 20, Mikell Street – driving without a valid license.
    * Julian Richard McCray Jr., 18, Hollingsworth Boulevard, Midway – theft by shoplifting.

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    * Michael Shane Bishop,36,Franklin Road – bench warrant.
    * John Franklin Horseman Jr., 20, Ga. 24 – obstruction theft by taking, criminal trespass.
    * Ronald Duane Bazemore, 23, Pretoria Rushing Road – simple battery.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    * DUI arrests – none.
    * Seatbelt citations – none.
    * Child restraint citations  — none.
    * Speeding citations – one.
    * Total citations – two.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    * Officers issued six traffic citations Monday and Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    * SOUTHERN VILLAS – A man reported the theft of a white 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.
    * HARVEY’S/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST – Someone stole a cap, sunglasses and a jacket from a car.
    * THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A laptop, TV, Kindle and an Xbox were reported stolen.
    * SAVANNAH AVENUE – A couple argued over child custody issues.
    * WALMART – A man was arrested for shoplifting an iPhone battery case. A woman was charged with shoplifting hot wings, wine and underwear. A man concealed $26 worth of items in a bag and left without paying – and was arrested as well.
    * COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES – A tenant said someone egged a window and a door.
    * PROCTOR STREET – A woman and her brother argued because he wanted to kick in his girlfriend’s door. He punched his sister and pulled a knife on her before leaving the scene.
    * RAYMOND STREET – A resident said someone kicked in a door and stole a Wii and two handheld PSP games.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    * PAMELA WAY – (Statesboro) Someone stole an air conditioner compressor.
    In a separate incident, someone reported a brick being thrown through a car window.
    * SOUTHEAST BULLOCH HIGH SCHOOL – (Brooklet) A student who came to school smelling like marijuana admitted having smoked it before school. He said he found it at the bus stop.
    * HOLLOWAY LANE – (Register) Someone stole scrap metal – galvanized roofing and iron pipe.
    * HIGHTOWER ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman called 911 and said someone was going to kill her. She ended the call, but Bulloch County 911 sent deputies after calling back and getting conflicting answers from the woman about her location. Operators sent Statesboro Police to one location the woman gave, and deputies to the other. GPS tracking showed the calls came from Hightower Road. A woman at the Hightower Road location said the call came from her sister, who was drunk and went home. When deputies went to Cedarwood Acres to question the offender, she turned her house lights off. After deputies knocked for several minutes, juveniles opened the door. The intoxicated offender admitted no one threatened to kill her, that she made the call because she was drunk and wanted to go home. Deputies arrested her for unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
    * CHAPEL ROAD – (Statesboro) A man was arrested after a woman caught him and two others on her property taking scrap metal.
    * GA. 67 at INTERSTATE 16 – Someone slashed a convertible top to a car parked at a Chevron Station and stole a GPS unit.
    * ROZIER FORD – (Statesboro) Someone stole a hydraulic knockout kit, a 18-volt combination kit, and several other power tools from a vehicle.
    * PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD (Statesboro) A woman said a man struck her in the head and threatened to shoot another woman. The offender was arrested.

Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    * Crashes investigated – four.
    * Fatalities reported – none.
    * Total vehicle stops – seven.
    * Seatbelt warnings – one.
    * Child restraint warnings – none.
    * Speeding warnings – two.
    * Total warnings issued – 13.
    * Wanted persons apprehended – none.
    * Stolen vehicles recovered – none.
    * Road checks performed – nine.
    * Motorists assisted – none.
    * Miles patrolled – 489.

Georgia Southern University Incidents
    * Officers issued twelve traffic warnings, assisted five motorists, responded to two alarms and investigated one accident Monday and Tuesday.
    * PHYSICAL PLANT — A chainsaw was taken from Physical Plant.

Central 911 Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 16 calls.
    * Statesboro Police Department — 25 calls.
    * University Police Department – no calls.
    * Georgia State Patrol – two calls.
    * Candler County Sheriff's Department – seven calls.
    * Evans County Sheriff's Department – three calls.
    * Claxton Police Department – no calls.

911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Statesboro Fire Department – four calls.
    * Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — six calls.
    * Metter Fire Department — one call.
    * Claxton Fire Department — one call.

911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Bulloch County EMS – two accident calls, three fire calls and 19 medical calls.
    * Candler County EMS – one medical call.
    * Evans County EMS – five medical calls.
    * Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Tuesday: four calls to Bulloch County First Responders and a call to an unnamed location.
