Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    * Meghan Harmon Arledge, 24, Screven Street, Sylvania – financial transaction card fraud.
    * Wallace Elbert Wells, 39, Cedarwood Acres Mobile Home Park, Register – probation violation.
    * Thomas Steven Funderburke, 47, Myrtle Road, Claxton – probation violation.
    * Terrah Leigh Shuman, 36, Queens Way, Ellabell – manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, probation violation, bench warrant.
    * Clayton Benjamin Lang, 27, Mockingbird Lane, Springfield – burglary, parole violation.
    * William Vernon Wilson, 38, Old River Road South, Brooklet – battery (family violence).
    * Charles Thomas Hunnicutt, 60, U.S. 80 East – aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, discharge of a firearm near a highway.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    * DUI arrests – none.
    * Seatbelt citations – one.
    * Child restraint citations  — none.
    * Speeding citations – one.
    * Total citations – three.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    * Due to an incident at GSU involving a suspicious white powder, no police report was generated Wednesday.
    * See incident reports regarding the suspicious incident.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    * Tuesday and Wednesday incidents will be posted Friday.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    * STUBBS METALS – (Statesboro) A computer, insulated wire, $6 and two two-way radios were stolen from the office.
    * LEE ROAD – (Pembroke) Speakers and amplifiers were stolen from a truck.
    * ARCOLA ROAD – (Brooklet) A man caught another man burglarizing his home, and called deputies with a description. The offender took an anklet, he said. Deputies arrested the offender.
    * MOORE BIRD ROAD – (Register) A woman said her estranged husband came to her home in spite of deputies’ orders and parked in front of her house, playing the stereo loudly before racing off.      

Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    * Crashes investigated – one. 
    * Fatalities reported – none.
    * Total vehicle stops – eight.
    * Seatbelt warnings – none.
    * Child restraint warnings – none.
    * Speeding warnings – four.
    * Total warnings issued – six.
    * Wanted persons apprehended – none. 
    * Stolen vehicles recovered – none.
    * Road checks performed – two.
    * Motorists assisted – none.
    * Miles patrolled – 369.     

Georgia Southern University Incidents
    * No police reports were generated Wednesday. GSU Police, along with several other agencies, responded Wednesday to a report of someone receiving suspicious white powder in an envelope. Haz-Mat teams from the Statesboro Police Department responded, Lewis Hall was quarantined and then evacuated, and the Georgia National Guard was called in to conduct tests after preliminary tests proved inconclusive.  About 40 people were evacuated after decontamination, and at Herald press time, test results from the National Guard were not available.      

Central 911 Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 23 calls.
    * Statesboro Police Department — 22 calls.
    * University Police Department – no calls.
    * Georgia State Patrol – four calls.
    * Candler County Sheriff's Department – six calls.
    * Evans County Sheriff's Department — four calls.    

911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Statesboro Fire Department – no calls.
    * Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — one  call.
    * Claxton Fire Department – one call.
    * Hagan Fire Department – one call.

911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    * Bulloch County EMS – three accident calls and 15 medical calls.
    * Candler County EMS – one medical call.
    * Evans County EMS – one accident call, two fire calls and five medical calls.
    * Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls  Tuesday:   a call to Bulloch County First Responders and three calls to other agencies.
