Screven Sheriff's Incidents
▲ MIMS ROAD-A man said he was at work when his car tag was stolen.
▲ MAIN STREET (Rocky Ford)-A man returned home to find two electric boat motors and $30 missing from his residence.
▲ ANTIOCH ROAD-A woman reported an argument between her and her baby's father. She said he refused to give her back her phone and her child and that he hit her multiple times.
▲ DOVER ROAD-A man reported missing tag decals from his vehicles.
▲ MARY LANE-A woman reported a large fight in her back yard where she said one party was waving around a butcher's knife.
▲ WAYNESBORO HIGHWAY-Trying to serve warrants, officers said two subjects alluded them by not answering the door for over 15 minutes, until officers entered and made contact with a woman and later the offender who was served the warrants.
▲ PYE ROAD-A man noticed his work truck go by his business but later found none of his workers had been driving it during that time or had it in their possession.
▲ BANANA CIRCLE-A complainant said she and a man were arguing over $20 she owed him. When she said she didn't have it, she stated that he hit her on the head.
▲ MALLORY STREET-A woman said after a verbal dispute with her boyfriend, as she was leaving the residence in a minivan, he threw a log used for firewood at the vehicle, resulting in a deep scratch in the glass and denting in the door.
▲ GREEN HILL CHURCH ROAD-A woman stated that her son and a man were in a verbal argument, when the man, who had been drinking, threatened her son. The woman said there was an active warrant on the offender.
▲ MILL BRANCH ROAD-In response to a home alarm, the doors and windows were found unsecure.
▲ COUNTRYSIDE DRIVE-A complainant wanted her granddaughter to leave her house.
▲ SAVANNAH HIGHWAY-A man reported two black men in a cream colored Dodge took about 20 pounds of pecans off his property without permission.
▲ EFFINGHAM HIGHWAY-A woman reported receiving harassing text messages.
▲ DOUGLAS BRANCH ROAD (Rocky Ford)-A woman stated that her daughter was receiving death threats from another student through emails on My Space.
